So I stayed away.

I wrote about other things, like ghosts and the paranormal. Until one day I saw a listing online from a new company (Living Dead Press) looking for zombie stories. And then I had the flash of an idea and before I knew it, the story was done. It was called "The Cemetery Job", and it was about a bunch of thieves stuck in a funeral home the very night the dead get up and walk. I was kind of proud of the story. No, it's not the greatest thing ever written, but it's okay. It was good enough to get published and become the first story I ever had published on paper. Yes. I had finally gotten a story into an actual, physical book. And it just figured it would be about zombies, didn't it?
